Longfield Country Market is Permanently Closed

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Longfield Country Market will not be reopening. We had hoped to return to Longfield & New Barn Community Hall when it opened in September 2021, but they have increased our rent by over 50% which makes the market financially unsustainable.

We would like to thank all of those people who supported us in Longfield during over 40 years of trading, many of whom became good friends.

Longfield Country Market

Permanently Closed

formerly at Longfield & New Barn Community Hall
Fawkham Road, Longfield DA3 7QP

Established in July 1978...

Longfield Country Market, formerly open every Friday between 10:15am to 11:30am, supplied a wide range of home-made, locally produced produce to the community of Longfield and surrounding areas.

Every week, our extensive range included home-made cakes, freshly baked bread, savouries and local eggs, home-made chutney and jams, as well as home grown fruit, vegetable and plants, not forgetting our range of crafts including knitwear, jewellery and cards for special occasions.

Why not pay Longfield a visit?

We are not just a market, but a meeting place. Customers can enjoy a cup of tea and coffee, a cake, and a chat, all at very competitive prices.

Parking is available behind Longfield and New Barn Community Hall.

Find us, just off the roundabout as you leave Longfield on the B260 heading towards Dartford.  Within walking distance from Longfield High Street, where you’ll find the local bus links (423 from Dartford, 433 from Bluewater, and 489 from Gravesend) and Longfield Train Station.
