Preserves
Preserves includes jams, jellies, chutneys and pickles. Jams are made from a range of fresh fruits mainly grown locally. Savoury and sweet jellies are available for both the breakfast table and for accompanying meat. Chutneys range from the very sweet to the very hot. Lemon curd and local honey are also available. All preserves are home produced and free from artificial preservatives, observing strict regulations. This means that they are traditionally made using sugar and vinegar as preservatives.
