Forthcoming Events
Apart from selling locally produced products Longfield Country Market has become very much part of the community. Customers can purchase tea and coffee and sit down to chat with their friends. In addition we try from time to time to help our local community. People running local events often use the Market to advertise.

Hi Kent Hearing Aid Aftercare Clinics
Do you use a National Health Service hearing aid?
Hi Kent, the charity that works with deaf and hard of hearing people throughout Kent, is opening another of its free aftercare clinics for hearing aid users at Longfield Country Market. People with NHS hearing aids can drop in and get their hearing aids cleaned and re-tubed and also collect fresh batteries free of charge. There will also be free advice and information about Hi Kent's wide range of equipment including special door entry systems, smoke alarms, telephones, conversation aids and television listening devices. All these items can make a huge difference to the life of a deaf or hard of hearing person.
The next clinic will be held from 10.30 - 11.30am on Friday 25th November 2011. Everyone welcome, no appointment necessary. For more information visit www.hikent.org.uk or phone 01622 691151.
Arrangements for Closure in the event of Bad Weather
Longfield Country Market closes very reluctantly. However, in the event of either heavy snow or extremely icy conditions where either our shareholders or customers would be put in danger we have to close. As most of our food is freshly prepared the cooks in particular have to be informed of a closure well in advance. The decision to close is normally made on a Wednesday prior to a Friday Market. This allows us to ask Radio Kent to announce any closure and of course post the information onto our website homepage.
